The humanoid that shows up.

173 centimetres of patient, precise, tireless help. Optimus Gen 3 learns a task by watching it, repeats it ten thousand times without complaint — and hands the interesting work back to you.

§ 01The premise

Built for the work that waits.

Every home, shop and warehouse runs on hundreds of small, repetitive jobs. None of them are hard. All of them are endless.

Plate 01Rest state · 0.4 W idle draw

We didn't set out to build a machine that impresses. We set out to build one that is still working on Tuesday.

Optimus Gen 3 is a general-purpose humanoid: the same shape as the spaces it works in, so it needs no special shelving, no floor markers and no rebuilt workflows. It opens the doors you open, uses the tools you use and climbs the stairs you climb.

The third generation is less about spectacle and more about stamina. Every joint was redesigned for serviceability, the hands were rebuilt around touch, and the whole body now runs a full working shift on a single pack.

Longer mean time between service visits than our Gen 2 prototypes, measured over 40,000 lab hours.

§ 02Anatomy

A — Perception

It sees the room the way you do. Then some.

Eight synchronized cameras give a continuous 360° view, fused with stereo depth and a six-microphone array. Everything is processed on the robot; raw video never needs to leave the building.

§ 03Capabilities

One robot. A long list of jobs.

Gen 3 ships with a base library of more than 300 skills and learns the rest on site.

Skill 001 — Teach

Show it once. It remembers for good.

Perform a task in front of Gen 3 and say its name. It watches your hands, maps objects to their purpose, and rehearses until it's reliable — asking questions when it's unsure instead of guessing.

002 — Home

Household care

Laundry, dishes, tidying, plant care and carrying groceries up the stairs.

003 — Logistics

Parcels & stock

Picking, packing, sorting and shelf replenishment alongside your team.

004 — Industry

Machine tending

Loads, unloads and inspects parts on existing equipment — no retrofits.

005 — Night shift

Patrol & inspection

Walks a route, reads gauges, checks doors and flags anything unusual.

006 — Voice

Talk to it like a colleague

"Put the blue crates by the loading door, then check if we're low on tape." Natural language in 24 languages, with a spoken summary when the job is done.

007 — Fleet

Teach one, train them all

Skills learned by one unit roll out to every robot in your organisation after your approval, with a full audit trail of who taught what.

Specifications are engineering targets for Batch 03 production units and may be refined before delivery. Runtime varies with task, payload and environment. Final specifications are confirmed in writing before any order becomes binding.

§ 05From reservation to work

Four steps. No guesswork.

We don't ship a crate and wish you luck. Every unit arrives with a plan built around your space.

  1. Step 01

    Reserve

Tell us where Gen 3 will work and what it should do. Reserving is free and places you in the Batch 03 queue.

    Today
  2. Step 02

    Site review

A 45-minute video walkthrough with a deployment engineer to confirm floors, doorways, charging and first tasks.

    Within 30 days
  3. Step 03

    Commissioning

Delivery, unboxing and a supervised first day. You'll teach your first custom skill before we leave.

    Batch 03 · from Q2 2027
  4. Step 04

    Keep improving

Opt-in skill updates, remote diagnostics and on-site service when a part needs attention.

For the life of the unit
§ 06Editions

Same body. Configured for your floor.

Every edition uses identical hardware. What changes is the skill library, service level and support around it.

§ 07Principles

Trust is a design requirement.

A machine that shares your space has to earn its place there. These rules are built into the hardware, not added in a settings menu.

  1. It always stops.

A physical stop button on the back, a spoken "stop" in any supported language, and a remote stop in the app. Each one works independently of the others.

  2. It feels before it pushes.

Every joint measures force continuously and yields on unexpected contact. Near people, Gen 3 automatically slows down and reduces its strength.

  3. What it sees stays with you.

Perception runs on the robot. Camera footage is not uploaded unless you explicitly enable remote support for a specific session, and a light on the head shows when recording is active.

  4. It asks when unsure.

Low-confidence actions pause for confirmation instead of guessing. You can review and correct anything it has learned.

  5. It can be repaired.

Modular limbs, published service manuals and spare parts guaranteed for ten years after the last unit of the batch ships.

§ 08Questions

Asked often.

Still curious? Write to [email protected] and a real person will reply.

Is a reservation a binding order?

No. A reservation holds your place in the Batch 03 queue and costs nothing. An order only becomes binding after your site review, when you receive a written quote with final specifications and explicitly accept it.

When will units be delivered?

Batch 03 commissioning is planned to begin in Q2 2027 for Workshop and Fleet editions and Q3 2027 for Studio. Reservations are served in the order received within each edition. We'll keep you updated by email if timelines change.

How does teaching a new task work?

Say "watch this", do the task, then give it a name. Gen 3 records the demonstration on-device, practises it under your supervision and asks clarifying questions. Simple tasks are usually reliable after one demonstration and a few supervised runs; complex tasks may need several.

You can also pick skills from the pre-installed library or, on Fleet, share skills between your own units.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. All core perception, movement and learning run on the robot. A connection is only needed for optional software updates, remote diagnostics and fleet features.

Is it safe around children and pets?

Gen 3 continuously limits contact forces, slows down near people and animals, and can be stopped by button, voice or app. It should still be supervised around young children, and we recommend defining no-go zones during setup.

What happens to camera and audio data?

It's processed on the robot and is not uploaded by default. If you enable remote support, you choose the session and can end it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details about the website and reservation data we handle.

Which countries do you deliver to?

Batch 03 is planned for delivery across North America, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. Reservations from other regions are welcome and help us plan future batches.

How is servicing handled?

Most issues are diagnosed remotely. Fingers, batteries and covers are user-replaceable; larger modules are swapped by a certified technician. Warranty length depends on edition.
